Probably the cheapest way to to go green is to change the filter in your air conditioning unit every 30 days. This keeps your unit running at peak efficiency, prolongs the life of your air conditioning equipment, and definitely saves a lot of green!

Refrigerant Charge

Have your refrigerant charge checked each summer. An air conditioning system that is low of refrigerant will have to run longer to cool your home. Of course this leads to higher energy costs.
